about
In 2015 during my Junior year of Highschool, I read about how Kathleen Hanna opened up independent feminist art galleries during her college years. Reading that, I thought to myself I can do that!

Being a young artist with not a lot of experience in the professional art world, I wanted to create an opportunity for my fellow young artists to exhibit and sell their art. That's when I came up with the Chicago Youth Art Exhibit.
Most of the time, getting your art into a gallery can cost $30-$75, and is usually only to enter. Being young, it's hard to come up with that cash. I want to provide an open and fair application process that will afford a wide range of artists to be in this event.

With the success of last year's exhibition and the help of the amazing Mia Weissbluth,I am proud to say that it is returning for its second year!

Art revolves around creating something that isn't there.
